The following paragraphs outline how personal data are removed from the Riko app.
A Customer's personal data may be part of reviews he or she created when visiting a Merchant's Shopify store.
Reviews data are removed automatically 48 hours after the Merchant uninstalls the Riko app.
The reviews data include:
- The name the Customer entered when submitting the review.
- Any personal data the Customer included in the review text when he/she submitted the review.
- Any personal data the Customer included in the review audio message when he/she submitted the review.
Customers may request removal of personal data from their reviews, or removal of the reviews themselves, by contacting
the store, e.g. through its contact form. Merchants can then request Riko to the process the removal via an
email to [email protected].
Merchants' email addresses included in support requests are not automatically deleted, as they are assumed to be
business addresses.
